5 things you probably didn't know about us :
1. Mc Naught and Co are now in our 42nd year since founding by Dave Mc Naught on the 1st March 1984;
2. We were the first attorneys to decentralise from the city and open an office on the Bluff, to position ourselves where our clients lived and not expect them to travel.
3. We have since opened an office in Sandton too and serve both communities from these offices.
4. We also have an international corporate client base and handle work for multi-national companies.
5. Mark Leathers, present Director of Mc Naught and Co, and Dave Mc Naught both qualified as Notaries Public together and were admitted as Notaries by the High Court on the same day. Dave had accepted Mark's challenge to get one more qualification and they wrote the exams together. A notary is required to attest to Antenuptial marriage contracts and most sectional title property transfers also require a Notary Public to attest to transfers of exclusive use areas like gardens and garages attached to a section.
