If you're buying a home be cautious about buying jointly in two people's names, even as a young married couple, unless you have tied the joint purchase up with a suitable legal agreement.

  • Many things can fall apart and the agreement should provide for responsibility for paying the property expenses, what happens if only one person pays, who lives there if you break up, how do profits get shared if you sell, and what happens if one person wants to sell and the other doesn't? Let Mc Naught and Co talk you through this and provide the legal paperwork that seals the deal.
