Fathers frequently complain and our offices have seen fathers struggle and resort to court battle to see their children with contact being obstructed by mothers.

The Childrens’ Act 2005 was intended to ensure the best interests of the child are upheld when making decisions. This is often not the case however as lawyers, social workers, the Family Advocate’s office and justice officials and mothers are biased in favour of mothers and give fathers a hard time fighting for the right to see their children.

Here are a few cases where fathers’ rights have been upheld and can be used as source material to help in other similar cases.
